The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2024 Las Vegas Bowl.
USC Trojans Draft Prospects
Kamari Ramsey, S
Ramsey played the first two seasons of his college career at UCLA starting in 2022. After playing well for the Bruins in 2023, he transferred to their rival USC Trojans. In 2024, Ramsey registered 53 total tackles and five passes defended.
At 6-foot and 204 pounds, Ramsey has decent size for an NFL safety. Ramsey didn’t make many flashy plays on the ball during his college career, but he proved to be one of USC’s better defenders. He looks like he is in line to be a mid-round pick if he declares.
Projected Draft Range: Third Round Pick-Fifth Round Pick
Jonah Monheim, IOL
Monheim is a veteran of the USC program, joining in 2020. He jumped into the lineup at right tackle for seven games in 2021. In 2022, he became a full-time starter, moving around the offensive line. He was named All-Pac-12 Second Team in 2023 and All-Big Ten Third Team in 2024.
At 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, Monheim has solid size for an NFL offensive lineman. His versatility makes him more valuable, but he is more likely to play on the inside at the pro level. Monheim could be a mid to late round draft pick.
Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick
*RB Woody Marks is opting out of this bowl game. He is a projected mid to late-round pick.
Other Draft Prospects: CB Jaylin Smith (6th-UFA), EDGE Anthony Lucas (6th-UFA), S Akili Arnold (6th-UFA), IOL Emmanuel Pregnon (6th-UFA), LB Easton Mascarenas-Arnold (6th-UFA), QB Jayden Maiava, CB Prophet Brown (UFA), LB Eric Gentry (UFA), LB Mason Cobb (UFA), DL Nate Clifton (UFA)
Texas A&M Aggies Draft Prospects
Will Lee III, CB
Lee stated at Iowa Western Community College for one season, then transferred to Kansas State. Following one season at Kansas State, Lee left the programto join Texas A&M. In 2024, he had 10 passes defended and two interceptions on the season.
At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, his length can be disruptive. Lee will have to fill out his frame more to hold up against physical receivers at the NFL level. Lee could return to school, but if he enters the draft, he could be a mid to late round pick.
Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick
Ar’Maj Reed-Adams, IOL
Reed-Adams started his college career at Kansas. With the Jayhawks, he started 15 of the 31 games he appeared in. He transferred to Texas A&M before the 2024 season. With the Aggies, he helped the team win eight games this season.
He stands at 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, which is excellent size for an NFL Draft prospect at his position. Reed-Adams will have the strength to hold up on the interior at the next level. If he declares for the draft, he could be a late round pick.
Projected Draft Range: Fifth Round Pick-Seventh Round Pick
*EDGE Nic Scourton has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected first-round pick.
*DL Shemar Stewart has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected first to second-round pick.
*EDGE SHemar Turner has opted out of this bowl game. He is a projected first to second-round pick.
