“Scary Terry” AKA Terry Rozier is on the move as he agreed to a new deal. According to Shams Charania of the Athletic, Terry Rozier is headed to the Charlotte Hornets.
Free agent guard Terry Rozier plans to agree to a three-year, $58M contract with the Charlotte Hornets via sign-and-trade, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Rozier signed a three-year, $58 million deal with the Hornets in what will be a sign-and-trade. The deal makes sense as Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Celtics were showing interest in a three-team sign and trade with the Nets and Hornets. This would involve guards Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker. As Irving and Walker are nearing deals with their new teams, Rozier will head to the Hornets.
Rozier played four seasons with the Celtics prior to signing this deal. He became a fan favorite, especially during his 2017-18 season, where he averaged a career-high in points, rebounds, assists and steals. He has a chance for a fresh start as he heads to the Hornets. The free agency period is underway and deals are coming in fast. Rozier is one of many but more deals will happen throughout the day.
