The Knicks have agreed to re-sign free agent big man Taj Gibson to a one-year, $2.7 million deal according to Ian Begley.

Gibson, 36, averaged 5.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Knicks last season. He played 20.8 minutes per game for New York with 45 games played.
The veteran has experience with Tom Thibodeau in Chicago and New York. He’ll be able to give quality minutes off the bench and help the younger players understand Thibodeau’s system.
