Hood, 28, is a seven-year NBA vet who has spent time with the Jazz, Cavaliers, Trail Blazers and Raptors. He has averaged 11.3 points per game in his career, but last year averaged 4.5 points per game last season.
The Bucks will use Hood as a reserve wing and will hope his shooting percentages from behind the arc can be closer to his career numbers than his numbers from last season. He shot 30.1 percent from deep last season, but is shooting 36.7 percent from 3-point range in his career.
Toronto is waiving Hood, which made him a free agent and eligible to sign with the Bucks.
