Plumlee, 30, is a seven-year veteran out of Duke who has averaged 8.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Over his career, he has played for the Nuggets, Nets and Trail Blazers.
The Pistons have some uncertainty at the center position with Andre Drummond being traded last year and Christian Wood hitting free agency. Plumlee, at the very least, will provide frontcourt depth for the Pistons for the next few seasons.
