Kornet went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. He was picked up by the New York Knicks, and played for their Summer League team before signing a two-way contract. He bounced between the Knicks and their G League affiliate for two seasons. Then, Kornet bounced around from Chicago to Boston to Cleveland to Milwaukee, then finally back to Boston where he remains.
In 2021-2022, Kornet played in just 12 regular season games, starting none of them. He averaged just 2.2 points per game in 7.1 minutes played. He also grabbed an average of 2.1 rebounds per game during his brief time on the floor.
