Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is returning to the team on a supermax contract extension. His new deal is reportedly worth $214 million over four years. Booker is expected to sign this new contract extension within the next week.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Thursday evening.
The Phoenix Suns and All-NBA guard Devin Booker are finalizing a four-year, $214 million supermax contract extension that he’s set to sign as soon as next week, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.
Booker will also be the cover athlete for NBA 2K23, per sources.

Booker was the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Suns. Since entering the NBA, he has help lead Phoenix to an NBA Finals appearance, has been an All-Star three times, made the All-NBA First team once and won the the NBA’s three-point contest in 2018.
In 2021, Booker scored 23.5 points per game while grabbing 3.9 rebounds and dishing out 4.7 assists. These were all a step down from his 2020 numbers, which were the best of his career. He also had a 70-point game in 2017, in a loss against the Celtics.
