Brown, 24, has spent two seasons in the NBA with the Pistons. He was a second round pick of the Pistons in 2018. For his career, he has averaged 6.3 points and 2.4 assists per game.
Musa is 19 years old and was a first round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. In two seasons with the Nets, Musa has averaged 4.8 points and 0.9 assists.
The Nets will help Brown can give them some depth now that they have Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant set to make a run at a championship.
Detroit will likely look to develop Musa and whoever they select in the second round with the pick they received, as they try to build a winning team in the future.
