Lyles, 25, is a six-year NBA veteran who averaged 5.0 points and 3.7 rebounds last season for the Spurs. He also spent time with the Nuggets and Jazz in his career.
The Pistons will hope that Lyles can provide some good frontcourt depth for the team. Lyles should also be able to stretch the floor decently after shooting 35 percent from 3-point range last season with the Spurs.
Joseph is a 29-year-old guard who averaged 8.2 points and 3.4 assists per game last season. He has spent time with the Spurs, Raptors, Pacers and Kings before playing for the Pistons at the end of last season.
With Cade Cunningham on the roster, Joseph will help mentor him as he has experience handling the ball and running the offense.
