Johnson, 34, averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game for the Pelicans and Mavericks last season. He has bounced around the league as a reserve for the majority of his career.
The Nets will need Johnson to provide veteran leadership off the bench when their stars come out of the game.
Brown is a 24-year-old guard who averaged 8.8 points for the Nets last season. Before playing for the Nets, Brown played for the Pistons.
Brooklyn used Brown as a key reserve last season and he averaged 22.3 minutes per game. His role will likely stay similar in 2021-2022.
