Andre Drummond has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. His new Sixers deal is for one season. He became a free agent in 2021 after his short stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, which started after a trade with the Cavaliers during the regular season.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

Drummond was a two-time All Star and four time NBA rebound leader with the Detroit Pistons. He was drafted by Detroit in 2012, staying with the team until his trade to the Cavaliers in 2020, then to the Lakers in 2021.
He has averaged a double-double in all but one of his nine NBA seasons. His rookie year has been the only outlier in that category. The 76ers now have one of the NBA’s most elite rebounders to pair with emerging star center Joel Embiid.
