Noel, 27, was a key reserve for the Knicks, who brought rebounding and shot blocking. He averaged 5.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game in 24.1 minutes per game. Noel has agreed to a three-year, $32 million deal with the Knicks.
Burks, 30, averaged 12.7 points per game last season. During the Knicks’ first round series against the Hawks, Burks was able to knock down key shots, even though he only started five games during the regular season after going to New York. Burks is getting a three-year, $30 million deal to stay with New York.
With the Knicks keeping two key players from their core, they will look to add more to their roster and make a deeper run in the playoffs.
