After LeBron James’ most recent dunk (with Kevin Love serving as the latest victim) NBA 2K22 has updated his player rating with the “Posterizer” badge.
The Dunk
Despite facing criticism for not competing in the dunk contest, LeBron sits among the best dunkers in NBA history. Over the course of his career, LeBron has flashed his “posterizing” ability during fast-breaks in the open court and on opposing opponents. His most recent victim was former teammate Kevin Love (Cleveland Cavaliers); during the second quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ 131-120 win. After catching the lob from teammate Austin Reaves, LeBron dropped a one-handed slam on Love who was caught in his path.
Love’s Reaction
After winning a championship with LeBron (2016), Love had a few words for his former teammate on Twitter:
I’m not f*cking with my guy @KingJames for atleast the next 48hrs!!!! 😂😂😂
— Kevin Love (@kevinlove) March 22, 2022
Love also made light of the situation during the game, playfully wrestling LeBron down to the ground in response to the dunk.
😂 Just a little brotherly love!

Posterizer Badge
LeBron’s latest badge is given to the best dunkers in the game; improving the likelihood of posterizing an opponent when held by a player. With a “driving dunk” rating of 90, LeBron has the “gold” version of the badge; allowing the ability to dunk on a player with a 65% success rate.
As LeBron James continues to put together a strong season, his NBA 2K22 rating has the chance to continue to rise as he continues to play at an elite level.
