San Jose Quakes vs FC Dallas
FC Dallas had a bad start to the game on Saturday.
Keeper Daniel Vega made an own goal in the 26th minute to give San Jose the lead. He got a pass back from his defender and missed trapping the ball. It went in between his legs and into the goal.
They did, however, tied the game up the minute after the second half started. Chris Wondolwski scored in right inside the right post to tie the game 1-1.
San Jose was quick to get back on their feet by scoring again only seven minutes after. Magnus Eriksson got a pass from the right side of the goal, as there was no angle on it to score. He was standing top right of the box and pounded it into the goal.
FC Dallas got lucky as Francis Atuahene scored in the 66th minute. He got the ball top right of the box and managed to curve the ball with the outside of his right foot. The ball went around the defenders and left the keeper diving for the ball. It went in on the bottom left of the goal.
The game ended 2-2.
Philadelphia vs NY Red Bulls
Philadelphia had an amazing come back in the game on Saturday.
NYRB opened up in the 28th minute by scoring. A loft pass was created to the top right of the box that was settled by another teammate. Alejandro Romero Gamarra then came in and finished the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal.
NYRB scored again in the 41st minute. A loft pass was made from behind the half. Brian White got the ball as he battled off two defenders when they came out to challenge. White lofted the ball up and over to leave the ball bouncing into the goal.
Philadelphia started their comeback in the 59th minute of the game. Jamino Montero got the ball center of the box and pounded it into the left corner.
A minute later Ilsinho shot from the top right of the box. The ball bounced off the defender’s leg and leaves the keep to watch as the ball goes into the bottom left corner.
Ilsinho scores again in the 71st minute. The keeper blocked the PK and left the ball bouncing out. Ilsinho got to the deflection and scored the ball into the bottom left corner again.
Philadelphia won 3-2 vs NYRB.
Colorado Rapids vs Minnesota FC
The game started with a goal made by the Rapids. In the 28th minute Kei Kamara headed the ball into the goal from a corner.
This was good for Rapids as they only had to focus on defending for the rest of the game.
Both teams had used all substitutions by the end of the game. Rapids also got three yellow cards and Minnesota got two.
The Colorado Rapids won 1-0.
