Stripling, 30, has been a solid starter for the Dodgers, but has struggled this season. He has a career ERA of 3.68, but that has dipped to 5.61 this season.
The Blue Jays made it a point to add to their pitching rotation with the acquisitions of Stripling and Robbie Ray before the Trade Deadline.
