The 2023 MLB season is warming up as pitchers and catchers have officially reported, and spring training draws closer. In this series of articles, TGH is going to be giving an early look at every team’s projected pitching rotations ahead of Opening Day on March 30. Here is the 2023 pitching rotation for the Los Angeles Angels.

Angels 2022 Season Review
Despite having two of the most talented players of their generation, the Los Angeles Angels missed the playoffs once again. Joe Maddon, who won the Angels and the Cubs a World Series, was fired in June of 2022. Their record stood at 73-89, which placed them at third in the AL West. They have not made the postseason since 2014.

1. Shohei Ohtani
2022 stats: 13-8, 3.11 ERA, 168 IP
2. Patrick Sandoval
2022 stats: 10-8, 3.71 ERA, 160 IP
3. Tyler Anderson
2022 stats: 10-10, 4.22 ERA, 175 IP
4. Reid Detmers
2022 stats: 9-9, 4.23 ERA, 151 IP
5. Jose Suarez
2022 stats: 9-9, 4.37 ERA, 136 IP
