The Baltimore Orioles have finalized a trade for outfielder Eloy Jimenez from the White Sox according to Jeff Passan.
Jimenez, 27, is batting .240 with five home runs and 16 RBI. In his career, he has an average of .270 with 94 home runs and 291 RBI.
The Orioles have been making moves to try to contend. They currently have a 63-44 record to lead the AL East.
There is no reported return for the White Sox, but they will likely be getting prospects. They have traded away players from their active roster and are not in the playoff race in the American League.
