The LCS Offseason is here. With all LCS teams out of contention at Worlds 2022, the teams are going to start getting their plans for 2023 in place. TSM are obviously included in that and have already made the move of releasing Tactical. Now, it looks as if TSM are likely to stick Chime according to multiple sources. Here is the latest.

During the early parts of TSM’s Summer LCS Split, it was clear that things were not going the way they wanted. To try and bolster their squad they went and brought on Chime from Golden Guardians Academy to play support with Instinct. The upgrade was noticeable from the start.
He helped not only bring stability to the team but he also helped Instinct with his first Split as a pro while also becoming one of the main voices on the team. His Rakan play certainly stood out and assisted TSM in defying the odds by taking down FlyQuest in their first series of LCS Playoffs. Unfortunately, the team went on to lose to Evil Geniuses but even in that series, Chime was crucial in pushing EG to the brink.
With TSM he played 10 different champions over 21 games (including playoffs) and helped the team to a 4-7 record when he started in the regular season and a 5-5 record in playoffs. Considering TSM went 5-13 during the Spring Split and 2-5 without Chime during the start of the Summer, it was clear that he was one of the best changes the team made all year.
Now with Chime likely coming back, TSM have their first rumored piece of five. Along with the fact that Chime played well, the choice to bring him back also takes up the first of three needed resident slots. This opens up the ability for TSM to have a plethora of choices while making their roster decisions for 2023.
Once more is known on the potential move, TGH will make sure to cover it. Also, look for more coverage of everything happening during the LCS 2022/2023 offseason as it has now officially begun.
