Next Darkin Champion Teased

During the latest LoL Pls, a new champion roadmap was explained to viewers. It talked about the new Shuriman Top Laner, Aurelion Sol’s remake and some other champions on their way, including a new Darkin champion. As was said in the video, fans have been wanting another Darkin champion for so long. Here is what was teased about the next Darkin champion coming to League of Legends.

For those who do not know, Darkin champions always have a Darkin weapon. These weapons help to make the user stronger but they also have their side effects. As seen with Aatrox, he has been turned into a Darkin, Kayn can be and Varus is a combination of both. They are the Sword, Scythe and Bow weapons in particular.

This Darkin will use Daggers.

Along with the image shown above, this was all that was told about the next Darkin champion. That means they are likely still a bit away and it would be a bit of a surprise to see them released in 2022. It still is possible as K’Sante and the Aurelion Sol remake are essentially confirmed for this year. League would have to release nearly something new each month. They have done that in the past, but it feels a bit unlikely.

What will also be interesting is to see where this Darkin champion will be coming from. Will they be a person from Demacia or maybe Noxus this time? Maybe even the Shadow Isles? The sand in the picture may be an indication of Shurima as well.
