It has been a while since League of Legends received a new game mode. The last one was Nexus Blitz and that has been under maintenance for years at this point but it is expected to return sometime in 2023. With that, there is also a new game mode that the Dev have been teasing since the beginning of the year. It is the Arena game mode and here is the likely Release Date for League of Legends.

One of the biggest criticisms about League of Legends has been that the only real consistent content coming out is skins. The champion releases and reworks have been dialed back. Also, the last game mode, Nexus Blitz, came out initially in 2018. Then it was added again during the Spirt Blossom Festival in 2020 for some time. Since then, it has been under construction.
The reason why players have been clamoring for more game modes is that many of the ones that have been released have been enjoyable. ARAM was the most popular and still remains so for actual League of Legends. TFT was once a League of Legends game mode but it is now its own thing. And then Nexus Blitz was met with a lot of love from fans.
This 2v2v2v2 mode has yet to be given a name or have its name leaked. Once it does, The Game Haus will have that covered.
Luckily, fans will be excited to see that the new game mode, League of Legends Arena will have its Release Date coming soon. It will first be on the PBE. This will probably be coming with Patch 13.13 on June 28, 2023 and then it will be officially out with the mid-season major event on July 20, 2023 with Patch 13.14.
Things can change but with the recent Soul Fighter Skins tease, which are expected to be the skins accompanying the game mode, it is clear that things are coming up fast. So buckle up League of Legends fans because the PBE is about to be packed with people trying to play the newest game mode.
