Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is the much anticipated next entry in the storm series. Aesthetically speaking, nothing much as realistically changed from the previous entry. The graphics look nearly identical, with some minor upgrades from Storm 4. But does Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections support Cross Play?
Though not officially confirmed, Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is highly unlikely to support cross platform play. To begin, none of the previous entries of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series have supported Cross-Platform play. Despite having released on various consoles, it seems Cyberconnect 2 hasn’t quite mastered this multiplayer feature.

If Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections did support Cross-Platform play, Bandai Namco would have marketed it as such. But since there has been no indication of such, it’s pretty safe to assume Cross Play won’t be a thing. So for players looking to play with friends, make sure to coordinate purchases accordingly.
In addition, though the mainline consoles have supported 60 FPS, Ultimate Ninja Storm FPS online play has always been locked at 30 FPS. Therefore, it’s highly likely to be the same Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, locking at 30 FPS when playing online.
Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Release Date
According to Bandai Nami, the Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections release date is November 17, 2023. This appears to be the release date for PlayStation consoles alongside Xbox and Nintendo Switch — but not Steam.
