During Pokemon Go’s initial release, the level cap was 40. Though Niantic later increased it to 50, this then begs the question, ‘Is there a Monster Hunter Now Max HR?’ Or, in general gaming terms, is there a level cap?
As of now, it appears there is no HR Cap. In essence, players can continue leveling in Monster Hunter Now. For those new to Monster Hunter, this has always been a trend in the mainline games. Though in the mainline games, players could reach a max rank of HR 999. Granted Monster Hunter Now just released, nobody has quite reached HR 999.
Though there is no max HR level cap in Monster Hunter Now, the story does seem to have an ending. In essence, players will run out of monsters to unlock after a certain point. The developers definitely have more monsters in the works, with Zinogre having been officially announced for the mobile game.

But until the next update, there is a definite amount of story progress to unlock. Here’s to hoping the next update comes sooner rather than later! After all, more monsters is always good. In addition, Niantic may address some of the glaring flaws plaguing Monster Hunter Now — potentially even improving the horrid RNG.
