The brand new season of Shinobi Strikers started off strong, with more DLC on the rise. At a price of $9.99 (USD excluding tax), Shinobi Striker season 6 definitely costs quite a bit. This price is especially high, considering there are a whole bunch of other characters the season pass has to compete against. This then begs the question, ‘is Shinobi Striker season 6 worth it?’

Well, this is a bit of a difficult question to answer, but it comes down to how much the consumer values brand new content. Since some of the characters have yet to be announced, at least in regards to their kit, buying the season pass at full price right now is definitely a bit of a risk. After all, there’s no guarantee the upcoming new characters, Obito and Kaguya, will be meta prevalent.
But, there’s always a lot of fun that comes from experimenting with new builds, and riding the hype train alongside the community. At the end of the day, the biggest value that comes with the season pass is the brand new content it comes with, and not the promise of meta breaking Ninjutsu.
For those who don’t place much value on this, it’ll likely be better to wait. There are over 30 characters to purchase, who have had tons of content created analyzing their strength. In addition, there are regular sales, during which the price drops down substantially — thereby, showcasing far more value.
In conclusion
Of course, the Shinobi Strikers season 6 comes with three characters, alongside an exclusive Ninjutsu only available through the pass. This is, therefore, cheaper than buying each one separately. The only release thus far has been Minato Renanimation, who hasn’t been that meta breaking for the defense class. But, his kit is unique and fun to play with.
