The Resonance Stone in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a stone that gives the wielder different effects during combat. Coming across the said stone can prove to be difficult as it randomly drops. How To Get The Resonance Stone In Baldur’s Gate 3?
The Resonance Stone can be found during Act II of the game. It’s located within the Mind Flayer Colony while you are chasing Ketheric Thorm. Before you go to battle with him, explore every single cavern of the colony. There isn’t a precise location as the drops are random, but mine was found around the Necrotic Brain Link machine. However, your spot may be different. You may have to reload your save to try and get it to spawn. The stone itself is a pink sphere with spider-like legs holding it up.
What Does The Resonance Stone Do?
The Resonance Stone doubles all the Psychic Damage that is done to you and those around you. As long as the stone is in a party member’s inventory, it will affect you. The downside to wanting to keep the stone is that Ketheric’s fight will involve Psychic Damage making you extremely vulnerable.
On the upside, the item will give the party an Advantage on Mental Saving Throws. But that’s about it. Sure it’s a cool item to have, but players will have to decide if the tradeoff is really worth it.
