Does Baldur’s Gate 3 Support Cross-Progression?
Regardless of what platform players decide to start their adventure on, Baldur’s Gate 3 cross-progression is supported. This means that progress and save date will transfer between systems. The only dilemma that can be found with this is for PC players. If playing a campaign with mods, they won’t transfer over to the console version of BG3 as they’re not supported. Maybe in the future it will be planned to be a feature.
Does Baldur’s Gate 3 Have Multiplayer?
Players can look forward to creating their very own adventuring group. Baldur’s Gate 3 does in fact have an online coop option. A max of four party members can come together and enjoy the experience together. Each member will be able to control one character each.

How To Play With Friends In Baldur’s Gate 3?
Playing with friends is a fairly easy process. If you follow these steps you’ll be able to play with them and begin your adventure.
- Select Multiplayer from the main menu.
- Click on Create to open a Multiplayer lobby.
- Change the “Who can join your lobby” to Friends only.
- Invite Friends.
