Since the first ever time since it’s global launch, Apex Legends Mobile received support through the form of a new playable Legend. Many players have seen Loba in the store and the playable Legend menu, but do not seem to have access to play her quite yet. Starting on June 15, Apex Legends Loba is predicted to release. Keep in mind, this is a prediction, not an official release date.

Analysis
Loba is classified as a support, similar to Lifeline. But unlike Lifeline, who provides support by healing allies, Loba excels in looting. This makes the pick rather great for players attempting to gather supplies and weapons faster than the nearby surrounding enemies. Utilizing her teleport alongside unique vision for loot, the pick excels at accelerating an early game snowball.
Abilities
To begin, Loba has access to three abilities: Eye for Quality, Burglar’s Best Friend, and Black Market Boutique. These all tie together to make her the best looter in the game. Eye for Quality, which is her passive, allows Loba to see through walls and identify high quality loot. This helps minimize the unneccessary roaming, allowing her and coordinated teammates to quickly identify and regroup themselves. Especially in the early game, looting serves essential to accelerating a lead.
Next is her active ability, Burglar’s Best Friend. Useful in many ways, this teleports Loba by throwing a Jump Drive Bracelet. Any access to a mobility skill in Apex Legends Mobile is excellent. And seeing as how Lifeline, the only other support in the game, is one of the slowest legends, having a support with mobility options stands as a great move.
Last but definitely not least is Black Market Boutique, her ultimate. The move places a portal that allows Loba to teleport nearby loot to her inventory. This portal is usable by allies as well. Once again, this move prioritizes looting, minimizing the necessary movement to maximize efficiency.
In Conclusion
Honestly, having a support as the new Apex Legends Mobile New Legend stands as a great decision from EA. The game, as of right now, literally only has one other support, Lifeline. And that Legend kind of sucks, as she very much prioritizes an almost useless play style. In essence, she focuses healing allies after they’ve fallen behind, rather than accelerating a lead. And in a fast paced game like Apex Legends Mobile, that’s not a very good play priority.
