Ray, 25, was drafted by the Denver Broncos 2015, but was not retained by the team when his rookie deal expired. He totaled 14 sacks in four years with the Broncos.
The signing of Ray comes a day after the Ravens signed Pernell McPhee to add to their pass rush. McPhee started his career with the Ravens for four seasons, but has since played for Chicago and Washington.
Baltimore needed to get pass rushers before the season, as they lost Za’Darius Smith and Terrell Suggs in free agency.
