The Cleveland Browns are trading running back Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network has confirmed that the Browns will be receiving a fifth-round pick for Hyde .
Hyde will help fill in for Leonard Fournette, who has been dealing with a hamstring issue this season. He will be competing with T.J. Yeldon for the time being.
With Hyde out of Cleveland, Duke Johnson Jr. and Nick Chubb figure to take over most of the running back workload.
The former Ohio State Buckeye has rushed for 382 yards for the Browns this season with five touchdowns.
