Early Wednesday morning, the 76ers traded for Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott by giving the Clippers Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, a protected first round pick 2020 and an unprotected 2021 first round pick.
The trade projects to give Philadelphia a starting five consisting of Ben Simmons, J.J. Reddick, Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid. Philadelphia is being aggressive in making this move, as they look to compete for a championship.
The Clippers will look to build for the future with this trade as they acquire two first round picks.
Harris, the cornerstone of this trade, was averaging 20.9 points, 2.7 assists and 7.9 rebounds on 49.6% shooting.
