Sony will run The Evo Lounge live show at Evo 2022, from Aug. 5 and 6, with interviews and major announcements.
The announcement comes from the official Playstation blog, a few days just before Evo 2022. The stream will cover days one and two of Evo, starting at 12 p.m. on both days.
After its cancellation in 2020 and the online variant in 2021, Sony became the co-owner of EVO after a joint acquisition.
Announcements and a live show discussing the tournament, alongside interviews at EVO. However, Sony will be handling them this time around and streaming them on their official stream platforms.
In the blog post, Sony celebrates the 20 years of Evo, after officially starting in 2002. Stating Evo 2022 will celebrate the return of competition between main lineup titles.
The Following Titles Include:
- Street Fighter V: Champion Edition
- Guilty Gear -Strive-
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
- Tekken 7
- The King of Fighters XV
- Melty Blood: Type Lumina
- Dragonball FighterZ
- Granblue Fantasy: Versus
- Skullgirls: 2nd Encore
The developers and publishers with reveals and interviews include Arc System Works, Warner Bros. Games, Capcom, SNK, and Bandai Namco.
The stream will be on both Twitch.TV and Youtube. The official Playstation channels are Twitch.tv/PlayStation and Youtube.com/PlayStation.
Evo 2022 is going on all day from Aug. 5-7 and will be full of exciting matches and reveals for fighting game fans
