The 2021-22 NFL season is past its halfway point. Fantasy Football playoffs will start soon and bye weeks will continue to take place. This means that quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 14 quarterback rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who should definitely be in your lineup that week because of the combination of matchup and talent. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and could repeat the production most weeks.
Starter- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
Low-End Starter- a player who should be started in most lineups but can possibly bottom out and finish below average on a given week. A high ceiling play in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Streamer- a player who could be a perfect replacement for a starter for a week or two. Starting this player may not win you your lineup but they will make sure that your production out of that position will not lose you your matchup either. Also a viable option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Deep League Streamer- a player who could fill a void at a position in a deeper league. Their ceiling may be close to average point production at the position but their floor is enough to get through the week. A reasonable player to have in your lineup in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
QB4 Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
Taysom Hill is believed to have torn a tendon in his middle finger last Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys. He is expected to remain the starter for the New Orleans Saints. However, if Hill was to return to a flex player role and Trevor Siemian was to return as the starter then Siemian would slot in at QB21 between Trevor Lawerence and Baker Mayfield. Hill would then move down to QB29 after Davis Mills.
QB12 Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow dislocated his right pinky finger last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. Burrow returned to the game but appeared to be in pain when throwing the ball. He is expected to play this week against the San Francisco 49ers but should be limited this week in practice. If Burrow was to miss this week against the 49ers then Brandon Allen would slot in at QB22 between Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones.
QB23 Daniel Jones, New York Giants
Daniel Jones missed last week against the Miami Dolphins with a strained neck. He could very well miss this week’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. If that was the case then Jake Fromm could start for the Giants if primary backup Mike Glennon is dealing with a concussion right now. Either Glennon or Fromm would to start he would be at the bottom of the list at QB28 below Davis Mills.
QB25 Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Justin Fields missed the past two games with a rib injury. He returned to practice last week but isn’t guaranteed to return against the Green Bay Packers this week. If Fields doesn’t return this week then Andy Dalton joins the list at QB26 between Zach Wilson and Jared Goff.
