The 2021-22 NFL season is past its halfway point. Fantasy Football playoffs will start soon and bye weeks will continue to take place. This means those wide receivers like Davante Adams and A.J. Brown will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 13 wide receiver rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting WR1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
High WR2- a player who may isn’t likely to carry a lineup that week, but has the ability to have a breakout game and is teetering between WR1 and WR2 category.
Starting WR2- a player who should be started in most lineups and should reach their point projection. This player is started is because of their consistency and moderately high floor
Low WR2- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not. Their production may not be pretty or win a person their lineup but the production is consistent enough to make a fantasy owner comfortable starting them.
Flex- a player who could float around the territory of being benched, but is started due to the potential to play better than their point projection. However, this player has the potential to flop and causes a fantasy team to lose if he has a bad game.
Deeper League Flex- a player who has starting value in deeper leagues. There are enough reasons to leave this player on the bench, but their upside makes them an attractive option. Desperate times may call for a player like this to be inserted into starting lineups.
Upside Player- a player who is boom or bust. This player can exceed expectations in a given week or could flop and be the reason why someone lost their fantasy matchup.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
WR16 Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans
Brandin Cooks missed practice Thursday with an illness. If this was to hold him out of this week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts Nico Collins would likely lead the team in targets. Collins would move up to WR33 between Devante Parker and Jerry Jeudy.
WR19 DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals
DeAndre Hopkins has missed Arizona’s past three games with a hamstring issue. He is expected to return this week against the Chicago Bears. However, if Hopkins was to miss this week’s game then Christian Kirk would move up to WR23 between Chase Claypool and Amari Cooper. A.J. Green would move up to WR41 between Rashod Bateman and Russell Gage. Rondale Moore would move up to WR60 between Marquez Callaway and T.Y. Hilton.
WR21 Odell Beckham Jr., Los Angeles Rams
Odell Beckham Jr. missed practice Thursday with a hip issue. If that was to hold him out of this week’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars then Van Jefferson would move up to WR25 between Tee Higgins and Devonta Smith.
New York Giants Wide Receivers: WR29 Sterling Shepard & WR36 Kadarius Toney
Sterling Shepard is dealing with a quad injury that held him out of New York’s last three games. Kadarius Toney missed last week against the Philadelphia Eagles with a quad injury. If both are inactive this week against the Philadelphia Eagles then Kenny Golladay moves into the WR35 between Kendrick Borune and Michael Gallup. Darius Slayton would then move up to WR58 between T.Y. Hitlon and Laquon Treadwell
If Shepard was to miss this game against the Philadelphia Eagles and Kadarius Toney is active then Toney would move up to Shepard’s WR29 slot. Both Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton retain their value in this scenario.
If Shepard is active and Toney is inactive then the Giants receivers retain their values against the Miami Dolphins.
WR32 Devante Parker, Miami Dolphins
Devante Parker can be activated off Injured Reserve this week against the New York Giants. However If Miami decides to sit Parker for another week then a committee of receivers including Mack Hollins, Preston Williams, and Albert Wilson will follow Jaylen Waddle for targets.
WR45 Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears
Allen Robinson has missed Chicago’s last two games with a hamstring injury. He could return this week against the Arizona Cardinals. If Robinson was to miss this game against the Arizona Cardinals then Marquise Goodwin would join the list at WR70 between Byron Pringle and Quez Watkins.
WR50 Corey Davis, New York Jets
Corey Davis missed New York’s game last week with a groin issue. If he was to miss this week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles then Jamison Crowder would move up to WR58 between Josh Reynolds and Marquez Callaway.
WR52 DeSean Jackson, Las Vegas Raiders
DeSean Jackson missed practice Thursday because he is dealing with a calf issue. If he was to miss this game then Zay Jones would move up to WR49 between Tyler Boyd and Corey Davis.
