The 2022-23 NFL season has already been extremely entertaining. Bye weeks are starting to take place. This means that wide receivers like Tee Higgins and Jakobi Meyers will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the fantasy football week 10 wide receiver rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting WR1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
High WR2- a player who may isn’t likely to carry a lineup that week, but has the ability to have a breakout game and is teetering between WR1 and WR2 territory.
Starting WR2- a player who should be started in most lineups and should reach their point projection. This player is started is because of their consistency and moderately high floor
Low WR2- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not. Their production may not be pretty or win a person their lineup but the production is consistent enough to make a fantasy owner comfortable starting them.
Flex- a player who could float around the territory of being benched, but is started due to the potential to play better than their point projection. However, this player has the potential to flop and causes a fantasy team to lose if he has a bad game.
Deeper League Flex- a player who has starting value in deeper leagues. There are enough reasons to leave this player on the bench, but their upside makes them an attractive option. Desperate times may call for a player like this to be inserted into starting lineups.
Upside Player- a player who is boom or bust. This player can exceed expectations in a given week or could flop and be the reason why someone lost their fantasy matchup.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receivers: WR12 Mike Evans & WR73 Russell Gage
Mike Evans was limited in practice Wednesday with rib and ankle injuries. Russell Gage missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury. If both miss this week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks Chris Godwin moves up to WR15 between Christian Kirk and Tyler LockettJulio Jones moves up to WR34 between Curtis Samuel and Adam Thielen.
If Evans is inactive and Gage is active then Jones moves up to WR35 between Adam Thielen and Courtland Sutton. Gage moves up to WR52 between Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Parris Campbell.
WR24 Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers
Allen Lazard was limited in practice on Wednesday because of a shoulder injury. Sammy Watkins missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury. If both miss this game expect Christian Watson and Samori Toure to have larger roles for Green Bay this weekend against Dallas. It is hard to trust any Packers receivers in fantasy at the moment besides Allen Lazard.
WR31, Rondale Moore, Arizona Cardinals
Rondale Moore was limited in practice on Wednesday with a hand injury. If Moore cannot play Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams Greg Dortch will join the list at WR38 between Donovan Peoples-Jones and Brandin Cooks.
WR32 Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs
Mecole Hardman missed practice on Wednesday because of abdominal soreness. If Hardman was to miss this week’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Marquez Valdes-Scantling moves up to WR42 between Chase Claypool and Drake London. Kadarius Toney will move up to WR57 between Julio Jones and Michael Brandy.
WR35 Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings
Adam Thielen was limited in practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury. If he was to miss this week’s game against the Buffalo Bills K.J. Osborn would move up to WR51 between Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Parris Campbell.
Houston Texans Wide Receivers: WR39 Brandin Cooks & WR55 Nico Collins
Brandin Cooks missed last Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a wrist injury. While Nico Collins missed last Thursday’s game with a groin issue. If both miss this game against the New York Giants Chris Moore moves to WR42 between Chase Claypool and Drake London. Phillip Dorsett would move up to WR60 between Sammy Watkins and Alec Pierce.
If Cooks is active and Collins is inactive then Moore joins the list at WR56 between Julio Jones and Michael Brandy.
If Cooks is inactive and Collins is active then Collins moves to WR43 between Drake London and Josh Reynolds. Moore joins the list at WR56 between Julio Jones and Michael Brandy.
WR44 Josh Reynolds, Detroit Lions
Josh Reynolds missed last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers because of a back injury. If Reynolds misses this week’s game against the Chicago Bears Khalif Raymond moves up to WR50 between Michael Gallup and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
WR46 Jarvis Landry, New Orleans Saints
Jarvis Landry has missed the past five games with an ankle injury. If he misses this week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers Marquez Callaway moves up to WR49 between Marvin Jones Jr. and Michael Gallup. Tre’Quan Smith joins the list at WR59 between Isaiah McKenzie and Sammy Watkins.
