Every game that’s left is vital for a team to advance have success in the fantasy playoffs Here are my tight end rankings for Week 15 of the 2020 NFL Season.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They Will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting TE1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a solid floor.
TD Dependent Starter- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not because of depth at the position. Their production is based on whether they can get in the end zone or not. It can be the difference between a top 10 performance or top 25 performance
Deep League Starter- a player whose ceiling isn’t high but should put up enough production to be started in deep leagues. When a player like this is started it is because their production though it will likely be low will be better than a few options.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
TE3 T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions
This week T.J. Hockenson may be without his starting quarterback Matthew Stafford. Last week Stafford suffered a rib injury. If Chase Daniels starts for the Lions, Hockenson becomes TE6 on the week between Evan Engram and Eric Ebron.
TE22 Mike Gesicki, New England Patriots
Late last week Mike Gesicki fell hard during a play that resulted in him being out for the rest of the game. The injury looked potentially season-ending. However Gesicki did return to practice Thursday, but was limited. If Gesicki misses this week Adam Shaheen becomes TE28 on the week between Kyle Rudolph and Harrison Bryant. While Durham Smythe moves up to TE31 between Harrison Bryant and Anthony Firkser.
TE24 Austin Hooper, Cleveland Browns
Austin Hooper was been limited in practice due to a neck injury and could very well miss this week. If Hooper is out Harrison Bryant becomes TE26 between Dalton Schultz and Hayden Hurst. While David Njoku becomes TE30 between Kyle Rudolph and Anthony Firkser.
TE29 Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings
Last week the Vikings were without Kyle Rudolph because of a foot issue. So far this week Rudolph has not practiced yet. It is very realistic for Rudolph to be out again for the second week in a row. If Rudolph is out Irv Smith Jr. would move up to TE12 between Robert Tonyan and Jared Cook.
