This year more than ever it has been difficult to make decisions about fantasy football lineups because of injuries, byes, and Covid-19 concerns. This week fantasy starters like Josh Allen and Drew Brees won’t be playing this week. It could be difficult to decide who is the best streamer to replace one of them in your lineup. Your roster could also have two starting-caliber quarterbacks. Deciding between the two could be the difference between winning and losing this week.
With so little time left during the fantasy football regular season every game that’s left is more important than the last to guarantee yourself a spot in your league’s fantasy football playoffs. Here are my quarterback rankings for Week 11 of the 2020 NFL Season.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They Will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starter- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
Low-End Starter- a player who should be started in most lineups but can possibly bottom out and finish below average on a given week.
Streamer- a player who could be a perfect replacement for a starter for a week or two. Starting this player may not win you your lineup but they will make sure that your production out of that position will not lose you your matchup either.
Deep League Streamer- a player who could fill a void at a position in a deeper league. Their ceiling may be close to average point production at the position but their floor is enough to get through the week.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
QB19 Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers
At the end of the Panthers’ game last week Teddy Bridgewater left the game early after sustaining a knee injury. Now it is uncertain if Bridgewater will be healthy enough to play in Week 11 against the Lions. If healthy Bridgewater is a starting-caliber quarterback in deeper leagues because of the easy matchup. If he cannot suit up in Week 11, P.J. Walker will get the start and will be ranked QB23 on the week between Philip Rivers and Alex Smith. This makes him an unlikely candidate to start in most fantasy leagues.
QB20 Andy Dalton, Dallas Cowboys
Since Dak Prescott had his season ended in Week 5 the Cowboys have had three different starting quarterbacks. Those quarterbacks are Andy Dalton, Ben DiNucci, and Garrett Gilbert. Now that Dalton is back from his concussion and off the reserve/COVID-19 list he figures to be the starter. However, if there happened to be a complication with Dalton’s knee Gilbert would likely get the start. Whoever would start for the Dallas Cowboys in Dalton’s absence would rank as QB25 on the week between Jared Goff and Drew Lock and shouldn’t be started in any format.
QB21 Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions
During last week’s game against the Washington Football Team, Matthew Stafford partially tore a ligament in his thumb. He is likely to play, but Stafford isn’t committal on laying at this point. If Chase Daniel got the start against the Panthers he would rank as QB26 between Drew Lock and Joe Flacco. Daniel should not be started in fantasy league anytime soon.
QB26 Drew Lock, Denver Broncos
This season has not been pleasant for Drew Lock. First the AC Joint sprain and now he is dealing with a rib injury. So far Lock has not practiced this week because of the injury. There is a chance that Lock misses this game. If so it isn’t clear Brett Rypien or Jeff Driskel would start in Lock’s absence. Either way, neither should be started in fantasy formats because of their tough matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Their starter would rank as QB28 for the week.
