Krystal has played for Team China for two years in a row now, and was a top performer at BlizzCon, where Team China took second place against Team South Korea. Krystal also played for T1w Esports Club, a Chinese Contenders team, who finished in third place last season. He had been with the team since mid-January 2018.
BeBe joins former X6 teammates Kim “GodsB” Kyeong-bo, Jeong “NoSmite” Da-un, and Park “Ria” Sung-uk in Hangzhou. X6 placed 5th-8th in the last season of Korean Contenders, and were champions in the season prior. X6 no longer participates in Korean Contenders, with their spot now owned by Team Eclipse.
The Hangzhou Spark now boast a ten-man roster, with eight Korean players and two Chinese players – Krystal and fellow Team China star Xu “guxue” Qiulin. Krystal is listed as a flex player alongside Ria, but plays primarily hitscan Heroes. He will most likely compete with GodsB and Park “Bazzi” Jun-Ki for a starting spot on the roster. BeBe shares a Hero pool with former Team Seven support Hyeong-Geun “Revenge” An, whose signing was announced yesterday.
