Overwatch 2 has revealed their newest tank hero, Hazard. This is about the time we expected a new hero to be coming with the next season of Overwatch 2. Season 14 looks like it will be bringing out someone who we really have never met before which should make him and his gang “The Phreaks” a very interesting addition to the lore. Overwatch 2 Hazard Release Date
The Overwatch 2 Hazard Release Date should be alongside Season 14 or on December 10, 2024.
He will be available though on a Hero Trial from Friday, November 22 to Monday, November 25. So just a few days after his reveal, Hazard will be able to be tested by players all over the world. There is no doubt that players will be excited to learn more about what he does and what he is adding to the already fantastic roster of heroes.
New Overwatch 2 Tank Hazard
In their latest trailer, Overwatch 2 revealed their new tank hero Hazard. Take a look at him below.
Hazard looks like a punk rocker who may be mixed up in some interesting things. His group, The Phreaks, are a new faction that we have not heard of and one that introduces two new characters as well. An Omnic and a human gunner who could be of interest for future releases. He seems pretty committed to them and their loyalty and trust payoff as they get away with what was an unstable liquid on the map Oasis.
Overwatch 2 Hazard Abilities
We do not have confirmation about the Overwatch 2 Hazard Abilities just yet. That being said, we can surmise that his gun-arm will be his main attack and maybe part of his abilities. It will be hard not to compare him to Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII.
Also based on the liquid that they pumped into him and his abilities after that, it seems as though he may have a jump and a knife for a weapon as well. Other than that maybe he is given a boost of somesort or a passive based on the liquid?
Either way, it looks like we will find out more about his abilities here soon. So make sure to keep an eye out for them and check back as we will update this once more is known.
