Overwatch 2 Season 12 Hero Juno
Overwatch 2 Season 12 Hero Juno is the first support released in 2024.
She is also the first support added since Lifeweaver. It looks as if she will have some interesting and unique abilities but will come with the standard healing we are used to with most supports in Overwatch 2 at this point.
What is most interesting is the lore surrounding Juno. She will be the first hero from Mars. That is correct, she is a Martian. We knew of the facility on the Moon but it is safe to assume there will be more revealed on this.
Juno Release Date
The Overwatch 2 Juno Release Date will be on August 20, 2024.
This is no surprise as she will be coming with Season 12 of Overwatch. Interestingly enough, Juno may not be the last hero coming out this year. There should be two more seasons of Overwatch in 2024. Most likely we will have the next heroes revealed in a bunch as they did with Venture and Juno.
Juno Abilities
As stated before, Juno is a support and her abilities reflect that. Below is a look at all of the abilities as revealed by the Overwatch 2 team.
Juno is certainly one of the more interesting supports. Her primary fire is very similar to Ana’s but it looks like it will be more rapid fire which might make things a little easier. That likely means that she heals and does lest damage per shot than Ana.
Her secondary fire is going to be really interesting as well. The locking on could take some getting used to but it is a cool ability in theory. The rest of her kit is about amplifying and getting into position. Juno feels loaded and watching pros play her could be extremely fun.
