With the launch of the newest Call Of Duty titles came a brand new feature. One of the newest features is Weapon Tuning in Modern Warfare 2. Since it is a feature that players will be using often here’s how gamers can Access weapon tuning in MW2.
Requirements
To unlock Weapon Tuning the desired weapon needs to be at the first max level. Once achieved the player then must head into the Gunsmith. With any compatible weapons, any attachments can be equipped and tuned to the gamer’s preferences.
The Stats
When tuning the following attributes can be adjusted while tuning :
Handling
- Better reload speed and weapon switching speed.
Damage
- Amount of damage the weapon can do
Fire Rate
- Rate of speed at which the gun can fire.
Mobility
- The overall speed of player movement.
Range
- The Distance at which the gun can hit targets. More range means targets can be hit from afar.
Recoil Control
- Controls weapon shaking when firing. The more recoil control the steadier the aim.
Accuracy
- Increases Hip Fire accuracy
ADS Speed
- How fights sights can be aimed down.
Aim Walking Speed
- Movement speed while aiming down sights.
Aim Idle Stability
- Stable aiming while not moving.
Why is Weapon Tuning Broken?
If players are having a hard time using Weapon Tuning in MW2 or can’t find it that’s because the feature is temporarily broken. Weapon Tuning was disabled because of a bug that causes the crashing of the game for players with five attachments on their weapons.
There currently is no ETA on the enabling of Weapon Tuning.

We should only have to pay a partial payment on COD game releases! They only deliver a partial game at launch!
They should only get paid when we receive the product we are suppose to be paying for.
