According to reports from Josina Anderson of ESPN, Odell Beckham Jr. has signed a deal with the New York Giants for a five-year, $95 million contract.
Anderson also noted that $65 million of the deal will be guaranteed.
Beckham Jr. has made comments in the past about wanting to be the highest-paid player in the league. While this deal does not make him the most well-paid player in the league, Beckham Jr. will be the making the most money out of any wide receiver in the league.
He will play on the last year of his rookie deal this season, before playing on his extension next season.
In his four seasons, Beckham Jr. has accrued 313 receptions, 4,424 receiving yards and 38 touchdown catches in 47 games played.
Beckham Jr. has not played since the fourth game of last season and has been sitting out the preseason games while waiting on a new deal.
Fellow Giants’ wide receiver Roger Lewis shared this video of the Beckham Jr. and the team presumably celebrating the new deal.
