Cade McNamara Out for Season with Torn ACL
Iowa starting quarterback Cade McNamara suffered a torn ACL and is now out for the season. He has passed for 505 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions on 51.1 percent completion this season.
Akron Quarterback D.J. Irons Out for Season
Akron starting quarterback D.J. Irons is out for the season with a torn ACL. He has passed for 722 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions on 66.2 percent completion.
Riley Leonard Suffers High Ankle Sprain
Duke quarterback Riley Leonard suffered a high ankle sprain against Notre Dame. He is expected to miss a couple of weeks according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

- Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Andrew Thacker was demoted to safeties coach. Kevin Sherrer will be the new defensive coordinator.
- Indiana offensive coordinator Walt Bell was fired. Rod Carey will take his position.
- Miami safety Kam Kinchens will return to the lineup this week. He left the game against Texas A&M with an injury.
- Boston College wide receiver Ryan O’Keefe has returned to campus after being hospitalized against Virginia Tech.
- Colorado cornerback Travis Hunter is likely going to miss the next two games.
- Athletes will be able to enter the transfer portal for just 45 days moving forward.
- NC State will start MJ Morris over Brennan Armstrong at quarterback.
