Hendon Hooker Out for Season with Torn ACL
Heisman contender Hendon Hooker tore his ACL against South Carolina and is now out for the season. Hooker passed for 3,135 yards, 27 touchdowns and two interceptions on 69.6 percent completion this season. Tennessee plays Vanderbilt in the final week of the regular season. Joe Milton will start for the Volunteers.
Mark Stoops Given an Insurance
Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops has signed an extension with the school that runs through 2031. He will make $8.6 million per year.
Tyree Wilson Ruled Out For Season; Declares for 2023 NFL Draft
Texas Tech edge rusher suffered a season-ending foot injury on November 12. He has now declared for the 2023 NFL Draft, foregoing his senior season with the Red Raiders.
