Ohio State defensive end Chase Young has been suspended for one game by the NCAA according to Brett McMurphy.
Ohio State DE Chase Young will be allowed to return after missing this week’s Rutgers contest, NCAA determines

The NCAA reduced the suspension after Young appealed the decision of four games (including the Maryland game). He was suspended for taking a loan out from a family friend to pay for his girlfriend to attend the Rose Bowl. Although Young paid back the loan, it is still an NCAA violation.
Young already was held out of competition for the Maryland game. The NCAA will keep him out of the Rutgers game, but he will be able to return for the rest of the season, which includes games against Penn State and Michigan.
The star defensive end has 13.5 sacks this season and is a projected early pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
