The Seattle U Redhawks came out ready to battle against the Cal State Fullerton Titans on Wednesday, November 30th winning 62-69. The first half was a struggle for Seattle U with forced shots, bad turnovers, and poor shooting. Fullerton held the lead as large as 14 points and ESPN analytics had them winning probability of 69.4% at 3:05 in the first half when the score was 32-20. Although, Seattle U manage to cut Fullerton’s lead to five by half.
Come the second half Seattle U was ready to play some hoops. They outscored Fullerton 41-27 in the second half. A dominant second-half comeback for Seattle U led by Riley Grigsby who finished the night with 22 points shooting .526% from the floor. It wasn’t just the offense but a solid performance for the defense who forced a 16.2% turnover percentage for Fullerton.
Though it was a poor shooting performance for the Seattle U Redhawks, they displayed a solid comeback win and moved them into 1st in the WAC conference.
