Ole Miss has fired head basketball coach Kermit Davis according to multiple reports.
The Rebels are 74-79 in Davis’s five seasons as head coach. They were able to make the NCAA Tournament in his first season as head coach, but have not been back to the tournament since. The only other time the Rebels posted a winning record under Davis was during the 2020-2021 season. This season, Ole Miss has a 10-18 record.
Before leading Ole Miss, Davis was the head coach at Middle Tennessee, Idaho and Texas A&M. He has a 477-317 career record and has made six NCAA Tournaments in his career.
Win Case, an assistant with the team, will take over as interim coach.
