Among the many beautiful things about March Madness is the notion that any team can make it. Every conference gets one automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament. Most automatic bids are awarded to the winner of each respective conference tournament. Each article will preview a different conference tournament with a full bracket breakdown.

Since the Northeast Conference decided to operate a four-team tournament, there isn’t too much deep analysis to be done. The Bulldogs are an interesting case heading into postseason play. They have a 4-0 record since the start of February but didn’t play any games before February 20th or after February 26th. In regular season play, they swept Wagner in consecutive home games. Bryant also took down UMass and almost beat Syracuse in non-conference action. The Bulldogs lead the conference in points per game, three-point percentage, and free throw percentage on top of the 8th fastest adjusted tempo per KenPom. They managed to shake rust off after one COVID hiatus but need to do it again against stiffer competition to make the Big Dance.
