Jorge Jimenez, 51, was hit by Boeheim’s car after being in the middle of the road. He had exited his vehicle due to being involved in another car accident due to the terrible weather.
Boeheim gave a statement earlier today in which he said, “I am heartbroken that a member of our community died as the result of last night’s accident. Juli and I extend our deepest sympathies to the Jimenez family. Out of respect for those involved, I will not be providing further comment at this time.”
Boeheim passed a Breathalyzer with a BAC of 0.0. He is not being charged for the accident.
