Is Apex Legends Mobile Crossplay?

Apex Legends is arguably the most popular Battle Royale game in the world right now. It normally has the most streamers and has been a game that is consistently pushing out updates while still adding to the story. With Fortnite and PUBG already on mobile many were wondering when Apex Legends might make its way. Fans have had their wish granted as Apex Legends will be coming to mobile but many will be wondering if they can play with their friends on other systems? Is Apex Legends Mobile Crossplay?

The mobile version of Apex Legends is one that definitely needed some time to find the right adaptation. With its fights having a frantic pace and the game being in first-person instead of third-person like Fortnite and PUBG, the developers certainly needed time to figure out the gameplay. Now with it being announced, it will be interesting to see how the game looks on mobile devices.

There is a limited regional launch that will allow for certain areas to test out the game. These countries are Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia. This is a great spread around most of the world other than Europe. That means that there will likely be many people using VPN’s trying to get around the systems.

The Apex Legends Mobile Release Date, these tests are happening throughout the Spring and then Respawn will see how they went. One can expect that if everything goes well and servers are in place, then the Apex Legends Mobile Release Date will probably be sometime in the late Summer or near the end of 2022.

As for Apex Legends Mobile Crossplay, this is what Respawn had to say for now.

“No; Apex Legends Mobile is being built specifically for mobile, so it won’t feature cross-play with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends.”

This does not mean that crossplay will never happen but it seems unlikely as the game will probably play differently.
