On March 8, Apex Legends Mobile released in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia. If in those countries, downloading the game is ezpz. But for everyone else, the download steps become far more convoluted. Many players may be wondering exactly to access the game, as it doesn’t show up in either the google play store or the Apple Store. Here is how to download Apex Legends Mobile.

Before even beginning the entire process, the player’s device must be compatible with the game. Here are the requirements officially stated by EA.
If the phone reaches these requirements, proceed to the next steps.
Step 1: Install a VPN
Regardless of which device, players will need to change the region of their device’s application store. To do so, a VPN will be required. For choosing which region to play in, select the country closest to the actual location. This minimizes the ping latency issues players will inevitably experience while playing, due to VPN usage.
When looking for a VPN, make sure the VPN supports choosing specific regions. A lot of free usage VPN’s lock the user into their own selected regions, which may not include a region that Apex Legends is available in. The only real way to check this is by installing the VPN and navigating within it.
Once a VPN is installed, move onto step 2.
Step 2: Changing Regions
Even when using the VPN in the specific region, both Apple and the Google Play Store require other forms of authentication. This includes a payment method, name, phone number, and address. But obviously, the ones reading this don’t have such forms of identification. After all, they don’t live in the specific region. There are loop arounds for this, but unfortunately won’t be mentioned in this article.
Hopefully, this answered some questions on how to download Apex Legends mobile. For those who still find themselves struggling to access the game despite using a VPN alongside having the right specs for their mobile device, keep researching. Once again, there are ways to get around the authentication. Just be careful when doing so.
