Today, the Paris Eternal revealed their team colors and logo. Unlike the Toronto Defiant’s reveal, Paris’s announcement included the entire team and staff. The team entered the stage in matching blue shirts during the stream as opposed to their jerseys. The event also included a surprise appearanceĀ from the Overwatch League commissioner, Nate Nanzer. During the stream, Nanzer did confirmĀ that there will be Sunday games next season, much to the delight of fans.
The Eternal will be sporting blue, gold and “a good red,” according to DPS star Terrence “SoOn” Tarlier. The logo itself has taken inspiration from the Gallic rooster, the unofficial national symbol of France. The rooster, colloquiallyĀ known as “Chanteclair”, is used as a mascot for most major sports teams in France.
